I stumbled upon this latest new low in the spreading of rank government-preferred propaganda from the New York Times while making my morning rounds of the interwebnets this morning, and feel like I just had to share it with you:
That’s right: Being spied on and censored and wrongly prosecuted by the Deep State is really kind of awesome, y’all!
And trust me: The story is exactly what it sounds like. Here is a key excerpt from it:
"When we hear “deep state,” instead of recoiling, we should rally. We should think about the workers otherwise known as our public servants, the everyday superheroes who wake up ready to dedicate their careers and their lives to serving us. These are the Americans we employ. Even though their work is often invisible, it makes our lives better."

Again, if these people didn’t already exist, no one could possibly make them up in a million billion years. And why would anyone in their right mind even want to try?
That is all.
I'm afraid our once great republic is truly lost. Clearly, the corrupt "leaders" who sold their souls have no fear of the public.
It sounds like the NYT is conflating important/necessary(?) government services with "The Deep State".
One can have sensible collective services such as public utilities, disaster protection/prevention and law enforcement without having a "Deep State".
I guess the NYT can't tell the difference any more.
