Hey, remember when a loan was something you had to pay back?
Remember when you were taught in high school civics class that congress held the purse strings and that all spending bills must originate in the House of Representatives? That was in the constitution or something, right?
Right.
Well, apparently that part of the constitution no longer applies, and a loan no longer has to be paid back, at least if you’re part of the Democrat party’s approved means-tested demographic. That’s what Old Joe the Sock Puppet Biden told us yesterday during another mush-mouthed script reading from his ever-present TelePrompter, though not in so many words.
If you make $125,000 or less, you don’t have to pay back $10,000 of the student loans you took out to get that degree in Swahili Women’s Poetry or Russian Lawn Darts. It gets even better if you’re married: You can make as much as a quarter million dollars and the amount you don’t have to pay back doubles.
Cool, right?
