Cause for optimism in the Trump motion to disqualify Fulton County DA Fani Willis and her boyfriend Nathan Wade grew late Monday after a key ruling by presiding judge Scott McAfee.
McAfee notified attorneys in the case late Monday evening that claims by Wade’s former law partner, Terrence Bradley, that all their communications since 2017 qualified as attorney/client privilege are invalid, thus forcing Bradley to testify in open court about his knowledge about the Fani/Wade affair. As reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution - a leftwing Democrat propaganda mouthpiece - Willis’s office refused to comment when contacted about McAfee’s ruling.
Bradley spent much of his time on the witness stand during the 2-day hearing that took place on Feb. 15-16 refusing to answer questions from lawyers for Trump and his fellow defendants in the case by claiming they fell under the state’s attorney/client privilege rules. McAfee ordered Bradley to meet with him in the judge’s chambers Monday to review his rationale for making the claim.
Late in Bradley’s testimony, McAfee notified him and the prosecution’s lawyers that Bradley would need to appear in chambers to further discuss his privilege claim and make a formal ruling in it. Following McAfee’s notice, the prosecution lawyers turned on their own witness and interrogated him about multiple claims of sexual harassment that had been lodged against him by femal employees of his and Wade’s law firm.
That act of turning on their own witness indicates Fani’s lawyers know Bradley is almost certain to give up the farce in this case.
The AJC reports that the hearing to take Bradley’s additional testimony could come as early as Tuesday afternoon.
Stay tuned.
And NO WONDER this is isn’t mainstream information.
Good news indeed. Makes this cup of coffee taste all the better.
