Honestly, my head is about to explode right now with abject rage.
Susan Crabtree, White House and National Security reporter at RealClearPolitics reports this morning that the Secret Service diverted a portion of Donald Trump’s security detail Saturday to help provide security for a Jill Biden event in Pittsburg.
According to Crabtree, one of the reasons why the SS performance in Butler, PA looked so much like a 3 Stooges skit is because SS Director Kimberly Cheatle chose to fill the Trump detail with “supplemental agents” with questionable qualifications to take on the task.
Here is the full text of Crabtree’s tweet:
This is the problem that my Secret Sources have cited: Secret Services resources were diverted to Jill Biden's event and away from Trump's because they followed agency protocol applying to Trump as a former president, according to two sources within the Secret Service community. There were also many supplemental agents from different field officers (not Trump's regular detail) providing security at the rally because Trump's regular detail has been overworked (some working 7 days straight), and only two counter-snipers.
But Trump is not just a former president -- he is the first in modern history to have run for president again -- and he has been the focus of several prosecutions and controversies (understatement intentional).
Who made the decision to divert the resources to Jill Biden's event?

We have a major, major scandal here. This is unprecedented. It’s borderline criminal negligence at best.
That is all.
And how many threats does DR. Jill get? Probably none and a small crowd to boot. The other shoe falls with a loud thud.
We still need to find out how that ladder got there and when it was placed there. No ladder and the shooter can't get on the roof. Did the shooter himself bring a ladder and somehow carry it to building where he then used it to gain access to the roof? Or was it already there? And if it was already there, who put it there? And why? How would the shooter know he had a ladder to get on the roof?
