I fly every month & tbh I had forgotten all about the air marshalls. I was on a plane into Reagan Intl 7 days after 9/11. Not one time have I ever thought, “Isure hope there’s an air marshall on this plane in case it gets hijacked.” Like everyone else I ever talked to about what would happen the next time someone tries to hijack a plane, I know for a fact I am going to have make an effort to beat my fellow male passengers to the terrorists for the opportunity to beat the living sh*t out of them before they even have a chance to try and open the cockpit door. And if they have a flight attendant hostage, God help them, because it ain’t gonna matter. And if the plane goes down as a result, so be it. But one thing that most definitely is NOT going to happen is a plane load of American passengers, many of whom are MEN, is not going to just sit idly by and let a terrorist get away with killing us all without a fight.

Air Marshalls. They were never needed in the first place. The more interesting aspect of this article is what the Air Marshalls actually ARE wasting their time doing (if this is true), harassing American citizens for no reason, right along with the useless TSA.
