It might seem early to kick off a 2028 presidential campaign, but it really isn’t. Mounting a winning run at the nation’s highest office takes a lot of time and a ton of money.

Besides, Gavin Newsom’s finished his job of destroying the state of California and turning its big coastal cities into 3rd world shitholes, so he’s got a lot of spare time on his hands. Why not just kick it off now?

And kick it off he did on Thursday not with a predictable softball interview on the standard Democrat propaganda venues like CNN or MSNBC or 60 Minutes, but with on the first episode of his own podcast with conservative Charlie Kirk as his guest. That’s pretty smart, actually.

The political media is all agog this morning over Newsom’s cynical decision to pretend to have suddenly stumbled across a modicum of common sense, breaking with his psychopathic party on issues like trans lunacy, BLM, and defunding the police.
