Holy smokes. Alvin Bragg and Juan Merchan might have opened the vault for the Trump campaign with last Thursday’s verdict in the Manhattan show trial.
We all saw the overnight reports on Friday that the Trump campaign’s donation website crashed after being overwhelmed with traffic from voters, taking in $30 million in the first 12 hours following the verdict.
That number grew to $53 million by Sunday.
This morning on Fox Business, Eric Trump told Maria Bartiromo that, per his wife and co-RNC Chair Lara Trump, the number has now risen to more than $200 million and continues to climb.
Take a look - Transcript follows:
Transcript:
'This might be a little inside information, but as I was leaving my house about 37 seconds ago, I asked my wife, what are we up to now?' Eric Trump told Fox News' Maria Bartiromo.
'And [Lara] said, just in terms of small dollar, we're well over $70 million. This is $21 donations, $43 donations, right, small dollar donations.'
The former president's son continued: 'If you add the large dollar donations to it, you're over $200 million.Â
'And by the way, Maria, 30 percent of those people have never been seen before by a political party.'Â
I mean, these are Americans who are pissed off. They're coming out of the woodwork, and they want to support a guy that they just believe, is getting bamboozled by a system.
And we saw it with impeachment and we saw it with impeachment two. We see it where they weaponize every liberal D.A. and AG across a country with one intent to to take him down, to slander him, to ruin his reputation, to try and divide his family, to try and bankrupt him, to throw him in jail, to do whatever the hell they can do.
And America sees through it. They know exactly what's going on.
Al Capone had one count, one felony count. Donald Trump has 34 over $130,000. Eight years ago, a case that everybody dropped a case said no one would pick up and something that was completely legal.

That’s quite a haul, folks.
The biggest key to what Eric Trump had to say there is the fact that 30% of the small contributors are people who have never contributed in either party before. If accurate, that indicates a major upwelling of support for Trump that could make a difference in November.
It’s as if millions of ordinary Americans out here in Flyover Country are saying with their pocketbooks that ‘Trump might be an asshole, but he’s our asshole.’
That is all.
There's a campaign slogan for ya, "He's our Asshole."
Part one is the haul, hopefully part two is the consolidation of Republicans across the spectrum. This legal malfeasance creates a penata that everybody can understand, may the $ keep coming and the support keep growing
