I didn’t watch the SNL50 special on NBC over the weekend, mainly because I knew it would be an unfunny shell of what the show used to be. You can bring all those old, formerly funny cast members and hosts back for cameos, but you can’t bring back the old, formerly funny writers. And even if you could bring those writers back, trying to survive in show business run by woke idiots and pedophiles has long ago pounded any real funniness out of them.
So unfunny are these people now that they decided it would be real funny to put Tom Hanks, a guy who may have some Epstein and Diddy trouble himself, on stage in a MAGA cap, playing a racist who is afraid to shake hands with the black host in a Jeopardy skit:
Talk about missing the cultural moment - literally the only people in US society today who aren’t raging racists now are the MAGA people.
NBC decided to air this repugnant crap at a time when President Donald Trump is at the peak of his public popularity and his policy positions are far more popular than he personally is. They wrote and aired this unfunny skit at a time when Trump’s opposition - the Dems, the media, and the Deep State - are in full retreat, completely disorganized and creating real, if unintentional, comedy every day with their rank stupidity.
