Campaign Update: Why is Trump Rewarding NBC News and Kristen Welker?

Ok, I got all worked up on this topic when it was announced late Wednesday, but decided I wouldn’t write about it until I calmed down. But I’m still pissed off about it all this morning, so what the hell - let’s go.

That’s right: President-elect Donald Trump is throwing NBC News a lifeline by doing an interview with host Kristen Welker on Sunday’s “Meet the Press” show. The interview is being recorded today, giving NBC the opportunity to air carefully edited clips from it tonight and all day tomorrow before being air in some longer but still carefully edited fashion Sunday morning.
