In case you missed all the fun over the past couple of days, the Washington Post, one of the most far-left [fake] newspapers in the US today, announced Friday it will join fellow far-left [fake] newspaper, the Los Angeles Times, in not endorsing a candidate in the presidential race.
“The Washington Post will not be making an endorsement of a presidential candidate in this election. Nor in any future presidential election,” Post publisher Will Lewis said in a statement. “We are returning to our roots of not endorsing presidential candidates.”
Here’s a bit of little-known trivia: The WaPo first endorsed a presidential candidate in 1976, when it endorsed Jimmy Carter. It also endorsed Carter in his losing effort against Ronald Reagan, then tellingly did not endorse Walter Mondale or Reagan in the historic Reagan landslide of 1984. Perhaps that’s an analogy for Friday’s decision - who knows?
