***UPDATE***
Tulsi Gabbard has been officially confirmed as the Director of National Intelligence by a party line vote of 52-48.

The senate has now moved onto the cloture vote on RFK, Jr.

In an interview Wednesday morning with GOP Cong. Jim Jordan, Maria Bartiromo is reporting that the Senate Intelligence Committee will finally, at long last, vote on the nomination of Kash Patel to be the next Director of the FBI.
The vote had been scheduled for last Wednesday, but Democrats used parliamentary tricks to delay the vote for one week. Jordan says Patel has votes both in committee and on the floor to be confirmed. Again, due to the arcane, silly rules that prevail in the Senate, a committee vote today means that the floor vote for Patel will not happen before next week.
