In case you missed it (and I didn’t write about it last month because I’m tired of writing about Groomer, Inc., aka Disney), management at Disney thought they had put one over on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in March, when they rigged a last-minute deal with the outgoing board of the Disney World development district just before it was replaced by a new board appointed by DeSantis. That agreement transferred all the board’s power directly to Disney itself, thus scuttling DeSantis’s desire to end Disney’s self-rule in central Florida in and around Orlando.
