Secret Service says it's appalled by DEI rhetoric against female agents ...

One of the most infamous incidents of Secret Service abuse related to the assassination of John F. Kennedy in Dallas on 11.22.1963 involves the theft of JFK’s body.

That’s right: JFK’s body was literally stolen out of Parkland Hospital that day.

Remember that, at the time of the JFK assassination, there was no federal law related to the assassination of a US president. The investigations, trials, and punishment of such killers were the province of the cities, counties, and states in which the killings took place.

That was changed by federal legislation in 1965, but in 1963, the investigation of the JFK assassination, including the conduct of a formal autopsy of the body, was the legal jurisdiction of Dallas, Dallas County, and Texas state law enforcement officials. Given that, it came as no surprise to anyone involved when the Dallas County Coroner showed up at Parkland Hospital within moments of Kennedy being declared dead to take possession of the body so that an autopsy could be conducted right away.
