Ed Martin, Sen. Mike Lee, Trump Weigh in on Comey

In a pair of promising developments, both Ed Martin - new Director of the DOJ’s government weaponization task force - and Utah Sen. Mike Lee are now weighing in in favor of going after Jim Comey for his “86 47” post on X which I wrote about earlier this morning.

I’m listening to Mr. Martin as I type this during his live appearance on Benny Johnson’s livestreamed podcast. As is his style, Eagle Ed is mincing no words about the need for his boss, Pam Bondi, to “do the right thing” where Comey is concerned, expressing confidence that that will happen.

Those comments came immediately after Martin cited the federal law which makes it a crime to threaten the life of a sitting President, which Comey clearly did with malice when he made that post on his X account.
