I’ve been sick since Wednesday, possibly with the Omicron virus, and that turned out to be totally fortunate since I lacked the energy on Thursday to watch even a second of the coverage of the Democrat Party’s “Jan. 6 was an insurrection” farce.
On Jan. 6, 2020, a riot took place at the U.S. Capitol building. Anyone denying that reality is not being completely honest, just as anyone who tries to characterize it as an “insurrection” conducted by “armed terrorists” is also not being honest. It was a riot, it was unfortunate, and it most definitely does not deserve all the melodramatic pomp and circumstance presented to us by the Democrat/media propaganda ministry on Thursday.
What really happened on Jan. 6, 2020 was that about 1,000 Trump supporters acted like a pack of Democrats, although without the burning of buildings. That’s reality, that’s the truth, and probably 80% of Americans understand this.
In reading about it all this morning, one hilarious aspect of Thursday’s parade of the absurdities came with the obvious effort by the Sock Puppet administration to start a process of rehabbing the public standing of our accidental veep, Kamala Harris, by giving her a prime speaking slot right ahead of the Sock Puppet. As is always the case, Harris’s delivery was weird and transparently artificial, but that’s not anything that would surprise anyone, so would have in a vacuum done her no damage.
But, being a high-ranking Democrat these days, Harris just could not help overplaying her hand. Instead of presenting an honest (a word not in the Democrat vocabulary) accounting of the bad things that did happen on that day on which the rioters themselves killed no one and harmed a handful of police officers, Harris decided it would be totally appropriate to compare the events of that day to those of December 7, 1941 and September 11, 2001.
Rhetoric just does not - cannot, in fact - get any more dishonest and ludicrous than this, and it will be rejected by the vast majority of Americans. It is in fact a shameful diminution of the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor and the terrorist events of 9/11, days on which 2,403 and 2,977 Americans were murdered.
The comparison is patently absurd, and amounts to rhetoric that would only be contemplated by someone doing their best to further divide the country.
Such a speech - and the incredibly divisive speech delivered by the Sock Puppet itself - could only have been written by a group of emotionally immature creeps who live in the bubble of the DC Swamp. These people obviously believe that Americans are stupid enough to buy this nonsense; and hey, millions of Americans are indeed that dumb, and they all vote for anyone with a (D) beside their name on election days.
What these Swamp creatures don’t realize is that, out here in flyover country, nobody’s buying it. Trotting Kamala Harris out there to recite such drivel in her uniquely insincere manner will not do anything at all to help her get her public approval ratings out of depths not seen since Dan Quayle held the office.
Kamala Harris is a classic lost cause. She’s a person who was literally the worst pick the Democrat party could have forced onto the Sock Puppet and the country, and now the Dems don’t know what to do about her. As a result, we see fiascos like this one.
Rather than trying to rehabilitate their lost cause veep, Democrat party leaders need to be figuring out the least disastrous way of getting her out of the office she holds before it becomes impossible to keep rolling their dementia-addled Sock Puppet out there to do his periodic TelePrompter readings.
Time is growing short.
That is all.
I am glad that you are feeling better; I appreciate your voice.
David, please, it was not a riot. I watched the videos. Portland was a riot. What happened at the Capitol on January 6, 2020 was nothing like Portland. Not even remotely close. A bunch of semi-bewildered people wandered into the Capitol building accompanied by a few nutjobs and one or two zealots. They were ushered in by the Capitol Police. Who promptly shot and killed an unarmed woman veteran. No police officers were harmed, unless you count PTSD from being absolutely incompetent pansies. The guy they claimed was hit over the head with a fire extinguisher wasn’t. He actually died of another cause unrelated to the impromptu Capitol tour. And lastly, I think we all know there were infiltrators in the crowd consisting of FBI agents, Antifa, and BLM people who were instigating ALL of the things you are calling a riot. That is all.
