Here are some things that have a longer life span than CNN+, whose cancellation was announced by CNN’s new management yesterday after just 21 days on-air:
- New Coke
- Beto O'Rourke's presidential campaign
- Chevy Chase's late night talk show
- The average soccer game (not really: it just seems like it)
- The odor on a dog that got skunk-sprayed
- Tom Brady's retirement
- This Marriage:
- The XFL
- Broccoli in the refrigerator
- The annual McRib release
- The average commercial break in an NFL broadcast
- Pork month
- Thanksgiving leftovers
- The lifespan of a Cicada. Not kidding.
Glorious.
Something is happening in America’s culture wars, and it’s a very positive trend. Just this week, we have seen these important events take place:
- The cancellation of CNN+
- The cancellation by the Florida government of Disney’s self-governing district
- The collapse of Netflix’s stock price
- The decision by Spotify to not renew its podcast deal with the Obamas
- The decision by a federal judge to cancel the mask mandate on public transportation
- Elon Musk obtaining full funding for his proposed hostile takeover of Twitter
Obviously, Democrats are not taking it well…
Meanwhile, at the White House, our nominal Sock Puppet “president” proved that he doesn’t know the difference between Title 42 and the mask mandate on public transportation:
Dear God, please make this man stop trying to speak without a script.
But hey, it could be worse. He could quit and leave Kamala Harris in charge. Our useless, lazy, incoherent Veep lost her Chief of Staff yesterday:
Understand that people can’t stand working for Kamala Harris precisely because she is useless, lazy, incoherent, and, on top of all of that, abusive to her staff.
Anthony Fauci claims to be 5’7” inches tall. CNN reporter Kasie Hunt is 5’8” tall. Take a look at this:
Someone is lying, and it isn’t Kasie Hunt.
Call me silly, but this divorce trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is about to convince me that ultra-wealthy Hollywood celebrities aren’t like the rest of us:
Is that normal behavior in Hollywood? Because I don’t think it’s normal behavior in the rest of the country.
Still think the Democrats aren’t facing a wipeout in November? Take a look at what is happening in the Oregon governor’s race:
Note that that Republican +18 result comes out of a poll in which 10% more Democrats than Republicans were included in the sample.
Yikes.
Finally, here is what an over-reliance on wind power for a decade has the German government telling its citizens now:
They’re going to be smelling like the French soon.
That is all.
Great read to kick off my weekend!😂
The only way a Republican Governor will do us any good here in Oregon is to just veto everything the super majority Racist, Communist Demoncrats put on his/her desk.
Add to the mix we have Betsy Johnson (formerly of the Demoncrat party, but a reliable gun friendly vote in the State Legislature when she served) running as an Independent who will most likely serve as a siphon for some of those like myself who are disenchanted with the insignificant and feckless Oregon GOP and a little vote stealing and you will probably still see a demoncrat take the Governor's race anyway.
Yes, I am that disillusioned about it. The GOP legislators, save for one or two, just give the Demoncrats what they want. No backbone, no fight. Just Jellyfish posing as conservatives.
