In a speech written by his handlers which he read from his TelePrompter Thursday, Old Joe Biden pointed to Italy as a “threat to the future of democracy”:
Now, let’s examine that for a second:
Old Joe quotes Xi Jinping as telling him repeatedly over the last dozen years that “democracies cannot be sustained in the 21st century”;
Biden points to “what’s happened in Italy” as an example of Xi being right;
But Italy just held a free and fair election, the very hallmark of a healthy democracy;
So, what gives? Well, obviously, what Biden is really concerned about is that there is a conservative populist wave sweeping Europe now, a natural and very predictable pushback by the people there against the leftist, climate alarm-based policies that are leading that continent into a massive economic collapse and a winter without adequate fuel to heat their homes. That European “red wave” elevated Giorgia Meloni and her party into control of the national government, and that means that the EU will be a whole lot less malleable to Biden’s desires.
He even goes on to essentially say that with the admission that this is “the reason why I’m so concerned and so committed to seeing that the governors - Democratic governors are elected.”
It isn’t about “democracy,” it’s about partisanship.
