Friday's Freaky Absurdities: Dems Have the Sads and That's Great for America!
Welp, so much for all those reports that Biden’s record high gasoline prices at the pump would be causing massive demand destruction among American consumers:
That would actually be a record number of drivers hitting the road over this Memorial Day weekend. The TSA is also expecting a record 12 million Americans to herd their way through its worthless x-ray machines at America’s airports over the weekend.
So, what gives? Well, first of all, if you adjust today’s average prices for oil and gasoline for the rates of inflation and wage growth, they really aren’t all that unusually high viewed through the lens of history. Second, millions of Americans have two years of pent-up demand for going somewhere, anywhere, outside of their hometowns on a vacation.
They didn’t get to do it in 2020 because of COVID lockdowns and other henious Fauci-isms inflicted on our society, and COVID concerns and restrictions were still fairly ubiquitous last summer. So, folks are ready to hop in the SUV or mini-van and get rolling down that American road, gas prices be damned, and I frankly don’t blame them.
More good news for America! The Democrats have the sads about redistricting now:
Yes, friends, Romans and countrymen (and womxn, as Mxchelle Obxma calls all you gals), you may remember back in March when the Democrats and their media agents were crowing about all their “wins” in redistricting battles in places like New York and Florida. I advised you then to be patient, noting that there was still a long way to go in these battles.
Welp, here we are a few months later, and the heinous Democrat gerrymanders in New York, Florida and other states have been reversed by the courts, leaving them all verklempt about the plight they face at the ballot box this November. The ultimate outcome in New York is so glorious that two incumbent Ds, the despicable Carolyn Maloney and the gross Gerrold Nadler saw their districts combined and must face off against each other in the Democrat primary!
Absolutely glorious! Where’s the champagne?
Even more great news for America! Slidin’ Biden’s polling numbers are continuing to collapse!
Here’s an excerpt from that stupendous report:
A Reuters-Ipsos poll of more than 1,000 adults, conducted this week, found that Biden’s approval rating sunk to just 36%, the lowest approval rating of his presidency, while 59% disapproved. The poll also found that nearly every demographic group disapproved of how Biden was handling his job as president. In addition, the poll also found that the economy is still the most pressing issue Americans are concerned about.

At the same time as the Reuters survey, a poll of more than 2,500 likely voters from Big Data Poll’s monthly “Public Polling Project” found that Biden’s approval rating sits at just 37%, while 60% disapproved. Biden’s approval was also deep underwater on individual issues. Just 35% approved of Biden’s handling of the issue of the “Economy and Jobs,” while 62% disapproved; just 33% approved of Biden on “Immigration/Border Security,” with 61% disapproval; 36% approved of his handling of “Foreign Policy”; 33% approved of him on crime, with 60% disapproval; and just 33% approved of his handling of “U.S.-China Relations,” while 57% disapproved. Biden’s approval was slightly better on the “Coronavirus Pandemic”: 44% approved, while 53% disapproved.
It just don’t get much better than that, folks. But wait, it almost certainly will get even better than that before November, given that Biden doesn’t even know where he is most days.
And by “better,” of course, I mean worse, much worse, for Old Joe Slidin’ Potato Head Sock Puppet Biden.

Because of course it is Bill Maher’s turn. After all, he has in recent months become something of a voice of occasional reason among the leftist idiot class, so naturally the LGBTQ-and-all-the-other-letters mob wants him to die.

One figure on the left is literally trying to cancel Bill Maher after the HBO late-night host's monologue last week that poked fun at the LGBT community.
Advocate magazine published a piece on Wednesday headlined, "Bill Maher Has Gone Too Far With Anti-LGBTQ+ Comments," with a subhead declaring, "David Kilmnick of the LGBT Network says Maher's HBO show, Real Time With Bill Maher, should be canceled after the remarks."
Kilmnick wrote he "has spent over three decades fighting for the rights of our LGBTQ+ communities, particularly safe spaces for our youth," but recent jokes by the progressive comedian "[feel] like 1993 all over again."
You get that? Because Bill Maher said truthful and honest things about America’s current fad of demented parents dressing Little Johnny up in girl clothes and considering it a status symbol if they can convince him to become a trans at the age of 8, his voice must be silenced.
Somehow, I’m guessing Mr. Maher will survive, and the mob will ultimately have to move onto a less-hardened target.
