I’m not a huge fan of JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon, who has proved to be a political chameleon who is willing to latch onto whatever the latest prevailing fad of the day happens to be across multiple presidencies. One of those fad to which Dimon chose to hitch JP Morgan’s wagon was the whole “work from home” canard foisted on American businesses during the COVID scam.
But like so many of the prevailing fads of the Biden years - DEI being another notable example - Dimon now sees the damages being caused to workers, especially the younger ones, and is determined to bring it to an end. Not surprisingly, he is getting a ton of pushback from his now-spoiled workers who’ve become accustomed to “working” on their couch without pants on, and don’t want to face dropping $10 grand on new wardrobes.
During an employee meeting this week, Dimon laid down the law to his gathered minions, and it is pretty glorious. Much of it is captured in the Tik-Tok audio below.
