Leftist X Alternative is Dying on the Vine

Bluesky is dying, just as I predicted it would a year ago. It is dying for the same reason other X alternatives launched in recent years, like Facebook’s “Threads” app, have become irrelevant to the point of death: Because it is only a home for radical leftwing haters of Donald Trump.

More specifically, first Threads, and then Bluesky, became home to leftwing propagandists who pretend to be journalists who just couldn’t stand to be part of a fairly unrestricted free speech platform like X. The mass exodus of those fake journos was comical to watch. Equally funny was the certainty that they’d eventually have little choice but to return when their alternative folly died on the vine.
