Minnesota Assassin: A Tim Walz Appointee, Carrying Flyers for 'No Kings' Protests in His Car ***UPDATED***
***UPDATE***
Updating the story below, we just learned that Vance Luther Boelter is the “director of security patrols” at a security firm in Minnesota. This explains how he was able to arrive at the victims’ home in a car they assumed was a local police car.
[End Update]
If you’re following Saturday’s news, you are aware that an assassin killed a pair of prominent Democrat politicians at their home in the wee hours of Saturday morning. House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, State Sen. John Hoffman were targeted by the alleged shooter, now identified as Vance Luther Boelter.
Boelter was dressed in a policeman’s uniform and driving a faked-up police car, complete with a standard blue-red flashing light bar atop it. He was confronted by real police as he emerged from the victims’ home, engaged them in a gunfight, and was able to flee the scene. Local and state police are conducting a manhunt as I write this.
