Oh, my goodness, Kamala Harris is such a damn embarrassment. Why Biden’s evil handlers would send her over to Europe to humiliate our country on an international stage is inexplicable. Nothing good could possibly come of it, while so much bad most definitely could.
Check out how she answered this simple question at a press conference:
What in the hell does any of that word salad even mean? Even when sent overseas to try to help quell an international crisis, this incredibly lazy and entitled nitwit can’t be bothered to study up even a little bit and prepare to recite coherent talking points in answer to even the simplest, most obvious questions. She is completely worthless, the worst possible choice Biden could have made for a running mate.
Over the past couple of weeks, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has repeatedly asked the U.S. to invoke sanctions on Russia before an invasion instead of fecklessly waiting until an invasion has taken place, at which point it is too late.
10 weeks ago, on December 7 of last year, Texas Senator Ted Cruz tried to convince Democrats in the U.S. senate to take a proactive stance, too. Predictably, it didn’t go well:
Ted Cruz apparently knew exactly what was coming. Why didn’t anyone in the Democrat party know? Weird. So hard to explain without reaching the inevitable conclusion that the Biden administration actively wanted all of this to happen exactly the way it has happened. If you go there, then sending the utterly worthless Veep over there to “handle” things makes perfect sense.
See how easy that was?
Speaking of worthless Democrats, the corrupt Democrat toadies at CNN aired this little gem from former NSA Ukraine specialist Fiona Hill on Sunday:
Can someone remind me about that time during the Trump administration when Putin invaded Ukraine? Because history obviously failed to record it.
Putin only makes moves like this - like his 2015 annexation of Crimea - when the U.S. is weak, i.e., when a Democrat is in the White House. Fiona Hill is a part of that problem, which is why she is a paid contributor at CNN.
Ronald Reagan famously told us that “The 9 most dangerous words in the English language are ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”
Welp, congress is getting read to ‘help’ out of another big pile of your money again:
Hide your wallets and purses, folks.
Oh, hey, nothing to see here:
That explains a lot, doesn’t it?
Speaking of Canada and Little Fidel, the Freedom rallies have now spread to Toronto:
At this rate, Trudeau is going to have to arrest literally everyone in the entire country.
That is all leading to this:
Of course, with the corrupt Canadian media establishment fully on his side, and the obvious short collective attention span of the Canadian voting public, there is really not much reason to be optimistic that this Conservative Party lead will be a lasting thing. Canadians seem to be a lot like New Yorkers who kept supporting Bill De Blasio despite the knowledge that he was literally the worst mayor ever: No matter how awful their liberal leader is, they seem willing to keep voting for him just because he’s got that “L” by his name on the ballot.
But the Tories do have this going for them:
Conservative leader Candice Bergen is one of the most impressive public officials in recent memory, a real contrast to the historically feckless leaders the party has chosen for itself over the past decades. Is she the person who can save the Canadian Republic? Who knows? Hell, who knows if Trudeau will even allow elections to happen in the future? His recent behavior is not encouraging in that regard.
Finally, the big news on Sunday regarding the Russia/Ukraine standoff was that French leader Emmanuel Macron had convinced Vladimir Putin to hold off his invasion and engage in a trilateral negotiation including Biden to seek a diplomatic solution instead:
Here’s this morning’s big news:
Oh.
If that surprises you, you haven’t been paying close enough attention.
That is all.
That was a good recap about Russia/Ukraine. Personally, I don't even think early sanctions would have helped since Putin would have baked all that in at the outset. If you know the story of the frog and the Scorpion you will better understand Putin. Many have speculated he will only take the Donbas but since he has troops positioned in Belarus I think it will be more depending on the resistance and Murphy's rule of combat #1: No good plan survives first contact.
