Monday's Absurdity: Christmas Comes Early as Fake Conservatives Quit Fox News
Two fake conservative hacks, the execrable Stephen Hayes and the corpulent, bloviating Jonah Goldberg, ran like little school children to the New York Times over the weekend to whine to get their fellow hacks there to report about their resignations as paid contributors at Fox News.
The two have made regular appearances on Fox since 2009, and were for a long time frequent panel guests in the news channel’s evening newscast hosted by Bret Baier. They’ve had less and less of a presence on Fox in recent years, as their capacity to annoy with constant whining and moaning about Donald Trump and real conservatives has elevated on a seeming exponential progression.
Goldberg and Hayes told their fellow leftwing hacks at the Times that their reason for resigning was that mean ol’ Tucker Carlson, who shreds both them using logic and facts on a pretty regular basis on his show, the highest rated program on cable television. Their contention is that Carlson’s new documentary, “Patriot Purge,” aired on Fox’s streaming platform is just too inflammatory for their patrician tastes.

Mr. Hayes said that he was particularly concerned about Fox lending support to the idea “that there’s a domestic war on terror and it’s coming for half of the country,” he said. “That’s not true.” Particularly disturbing in “Patriot Purge,” he added, “was the imagery of waterboarding and suggestions that half the country is going to be subject to this kind of treatment, that’s the same kind of treatment that the federal government used when it went after Al Qaeda.”

Of course, Carlson’s documentary is right on, and the reality is that Hayes and Goldberg, both being dedicated DC swamp rats in good standing, are horrified that any cable news operation would allow one of its on-air personalities to expose the truth.
We have the Attorney General of the United States using the FBI to intimidate mothers of school children who speak out at school board meetings.
We have the FBI using its thugs to knock down doors and raiding the homes of conservative activists who are peacefully using the system to defeat Soros-funded candidates for local offices.
We have the U.S. military purging its ranks of Christians and conservative thinkers.
We have agencies of the federal government forcing its employees to be indoctrinated with Marxist ideology in the guise of Critical Race Theory.
We have CIA and FBI plants at MSNBC and CNN telling viewers that anyone who speaks out against these federal government actions is a domestic terrorist.
These things and many, many more are happening in our society right now. Today. But Goldberg and Hayes and their fake conservative ilk want to keep feeding at the DC Swamp’s trough, and so are taking their ball and going home from Fox News, pointing the finger at Tucker Carlson as they flee.
I can’t imagine anyone other than Bret Baier will miss them, and he’ll only miss them because he’s running out of fake conservatives to fill his panels with. Maybe A.B. Stoddard can make a comeback now.

Never had much use for either of them. Establishment swamp rats. Goldberg is a fat schlub & Hayes wants you to pay to take a cruise with him & Bill Kristol; so you can make them feel like celebrities? Useless mouth breathers all of them.
