Don’t look now, but media speculation about another run for the presidency by 81 year-old communist Bernie Sanders ramped up over the weekend. The speculation arose after Sanders went to New Hampshire to deliver a speech praising the Sock Puppet at St. Anselm College:
In the speech, The Commie favorably compared Old Joe Biden to Franklin Roosevelt, whose own presidency was the first manifestation in the U.S. of top-down command-and-control socialism in American history.
For those who didn’t learn real history, Roosevelt’s approach to governance was a miserable failure, likely extending the Great Depression by several years, before Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor provided an excuse for the U.S. to become involved in WWII. That forced FDR and his commie advisors to unleash the full power of the American economy to build the most massive war machine the world has ever witnessed, enabling able-bodied men and women to leave FDR’s soup lines for jobs making tanks and planes and enlisting in a rapidly expanding military.
