Monday's Monumental Absurdities: The Only Good Democrat is an AOC-Approved Democrat
This weekend was just a pack of absurdities from start to finish. The nominal ‘leaders’ of the G7 countries did this on Sunday, for example:
Yes, by all means, let’s punish Putin by forcing the heathen to keep his own, um, [checks notes]… gold???
Actually, unlike much of what these guys do, it makes a certain amount of sense. From the story at Newsmax:
In recent years, gold has been the top Russian export after energy — reaching almost $19 billion or about 5% of global gold exports, in 2020, according to the White House.
Of Russian gold exports, 90% was consigned to G-7 countries. Of these Russian exports, over 90%, or nearly $17 billion, was exported to the U.K. The United States imported less than $200 million in gold from Russia in 2019, and under $1 million in 2020 and 2021.

So, it’s a pinprick compared to the value of Russia’s exports of energy - which continue their flow into the EU, China, India and around the world despite the toothless sanctions imposed by the West thus far - but hey, it gave these ‘leaders’ something to boast about on their vacation in Schloss Elmau, Germany.
Speaking of Germany, while that was going on, AOC was doing her best impression of Hitler, circa 1934, telling her fans that the only good Democrat is a pro-abortion on demand Democrat:
“Not every Democrat is pro-choice - we really need to reassess if it’s appropriate for them to continue to serve.”
Hey, you either join the Democrat Borg, surrender all forms of independent thought and buy-in to the Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals model on which the party operates now, or you’re dead to AOC. You hear that, Henry Cuellar? When are you going to realize that you are in the wrong political party, dude?
AOC is the Democrat present and future, folks. Get used to it.
Speaking of AOC, she and NBC hack Chuck Todd teed up the Democrats’ new abortion narrative on Sunday morning:
This is utter, complete legal claptrap that isn’t going anywhere, but it’ll do for the Democrats’ political purposes for a week or two. The fact is that, when Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett came up for nomination, Roe v. Wade indeed was settled law in the correct meaning of that term. But the case that was decided on Friday had not yet come before the Court at that time, and “settled law” has a way of becoming “unsettled law” when the right challenge to it comes along. America’s history is literally filled will examples of this.
That’s what happened here, and it has left the Democrats with nothing to do in response but sling nonsense like this and stage riots in the streets of Democrat-run cities.
A central part of the Democrat party plan for their “summer of rage” is to burn Christian centers that provide pregnancy services to women in those same Democrat-run cities. One such center in Denver was burned on Saturday:
You need to understand this very clearly, folks: Like the staging of riots and looting of the local Wal-Mart or Target any time something doesn’t go their way, the leaders of the Democrat party consider burning Christian centers like this one to be just another acceptable political tactic now. To them, that is all any of this is. They really do think this way.
You also need to understand that to Democrats, the only acceptable pregnancy service any women’s center can provide is abortion, which is why Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest and most repugnant chain of abortion mills, will be hit hardest by the reversal of Roe v. Wade.
In case you were wondering exactly who Texas Senator John Cornyn cares about impressing the most with his RINO bill on “gun safety,” he answered the question in a tweet for you on Saturday:
Well, of course.
This guy isn’t up for re-election until 2026, but Texans have very long memories about stuff like this. Expect Big John to have a tough primary fight on his hands when the time comes.
Finally, Old Joe Biden and his fellow G7 “leaders” announced this over the weekend:
That’s right: $600 billion in new debt-funded spending not to address issues in the U.S. and other G7 countries, but in the third world. But it’s just the tip of the iceberg, folks.

The Group of Seven on Sunday announced a plan that would help build global infrastructure in middle-income countries.
The plan, called "The Partnership For Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII)," will provide $600 billion in infrastructure investments by 2027. The U.S. will contribute $200 billion over the next five years, President Joe Biden announced at the G7 meeting in Germany.
The capital will come from "like-minded partners, multilateral development banks, development finance institutions, sovereign wealth funds, and more," according to Biden.
The Biden administration noted that infrastructure has long been underfunded and there is "over $40 trillion in estimated need in the developing world."
Biden said that this investment in infrastructure will help shape global stability. It will ensure health and health security, digital connectivity, gender equality and equity, and climate and energy security.

Look at what this spending is targeting: Control of health care, control of communications, control of energy by forcing these countries to rely on unreliable, intermittent renewables. The three pillars of control that have been targeted by the U.S. Democrats and liberal parties all over Europe in this century.
This is not an “infrastructure” initiative: It’s a global socialism initiative. And the Democrats and our state-controlled media are hoping it will all fly under the public’s radar, which is why I couldn’t find a U.S. media story to link you to.
Classic. Alinsky would be so proud.
