Monday's [non-] Absurdity of the Day: Florida Diner Owner Taps Into America's Real Heartbeat
As we all prepare for a down day in keeping with our traditional celebration of Labor Day, how about this bit of inspiration exemplifying what America is really all about:
You may remember this story from a few weeks back, about the owner of a diner in Florida who put up a sign telling Biden supporters to take their business elsewhere after 13 U.S. service members were killed thanks to decisions made by our Sock Puppet-in-Chief and his woke nitwit generals at the Pentagon. Specifically, the sign read:
“If you voted for and continue to support and stand behind the worthless, inept and corrupt administration currently inhabiting the White House that is complicit in the death of our servicemen and women in Afghanistan, please take your business elsewhere. God Bless America and God Bless Our Soldiers.”
Cool. We need more business owners with the courage to take this exact stand.
Most corrupt media outlets naturally ignored the story, and most of those that did cover it speculated that the diner owner might lose business because of the sign. After all, those [mythical] 81 million Biden voters gotta eat somewhere, right? Sure.
Welp, that hasn’t happened. Not even close. In fact, the owner, Angie Ugarte, was forced to shut down her DeBary Diner last Wednesday night and Thursday due to … wait for it … LACK OF FOOD. That’s right: her diner’s seen such an outpouring of support from real Americans who love their country that she’s had a hard time keeping up with demand.
Even better, her effort to provide free meals to U.S. veterans in need has also been overwhelmed with support.
“I’ve gotten so many people calling me from all over the world, from Europe, trying to purchase meals for veterans, which I still haven’t been able to organize,” said DeBary Diner owner Angie Ugarte, according to the Daily Mail.
“I think that the veterans will be fed for the rest of the year at the rate I’m getting donations,” Ugarte said.
This is America. This is who our nation really is. What Ms. Ugarte has done is tap into the real heartbeat of our country.
