Must Watch: Tucker Carlson Interview With Ken Paxton

In order to fully understand the fiasco that House Speaker Dade Phelan and liberal Texas Republican House members created with this sham impeachment of Attorney General Ken Paxton, you have to understand how the House Speaker is picked every two years. AS Paxton explains in this interview with Tucker Carlson, even though the GOP has a clear majority in the House, the speaker is decided mainly by the Democrat minority. So long as a speaker candidate can secure the Democrat votes, all he must do to win is convince as few as 10 Republicans to go along.

Also pay very close attention to his remarks about the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, and how that court has now effectively banned the state’s chief law enforcement officer from prosecuting voter fraud cases in Texas.
