Ok, So What in the Hell Was That All About?
Saturday was quite the day in Russia. Some guy named [checks notes] Yevgeny Prigozhin started the day mounting what looked to be a military coup with his Wagner Group mercenary army and ended it gladly riding off into the Bellarussian sunset for his retirement exile, leaving his army behind at the mercy of a pissed off Vladimir Putin.

In between, a lot of media-defined “experts” made a lot of predictions that turned out to be completely wrong. Or, in media parlance, they were “caught off guard” by rapidly evolving events. Because of course they were - being wrong about events appears to be their collective roles in life.
So, what was the day really all about?
