Quick Take: Joe Manchin Pulls the Plug on the Biden Titanic
Appearing on Fox New’s revamped Sunday morning show with host Bret Baier, Joe Manchin had this to say about the Sock Puppet’s “Build Back Better” atrocity:
Ding-dong, the witch is dead.
The corrupt, despicable news media focuses most of its attention on the vast expansion of the social welfare state contained in this bill, but here’s the real killer in this for the globalist “great reset” agenda: This bill also contains $600 billion in new and expanded subsidies for AOC’s “Green New Deal,” the lunatic, fantasy-based notion that we can destroy oil, gas and coal and replace them with lovely windmills, solar arrays and I guess sugarplum fairies to heat our homes keep our lights on.
The killing of this bill is an enormous setback for the prospects of dramatic expansion of these unreliable, intermittent sources of energy not just in the U.S., but really globally given that America has been a pace-setter in the renewable space for the past 20 years. That in turn will lessen the ongoing ability of states like Texas - whose grid has been so woefully mismanaged in recent years - to continue piling more and more unreliable energy sources onto the grid at the expense of building adequate new baseload capacity fired by natural gas.
This is a big deal, and everyone should be grateful to Sen. Manchin for holding firm in opposing this terrible bill.
