The tornadoes that ravaged Kentucky and other areas in recent days represent one of our country’s most tragic recent natural disasters. Sadly, corrupt elements in the climate change lobby, the Biden administration and our despicable national news media have leapt in to claim they are caused by “climate change.”
They aren’t. The fact is that the frequency of severe tornadic events in the United States have both declined significantly in modern times. Here’s proof:
That is compiled from the official data at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
Doppler-era records show no increase in the frequency of tornadoes since 1995, the early days of Al Gore’s efforts to raise climate hysteria in the public:
If anything, they have been on a slight downward trend.
NOAA data also debunks any claim to a cause and effect relationship between rising carbon levels and tornadic events:
That’s the data. That’s reality.
This Quad-state event is a terrible tragedy and an awful natural disaster. But there is no evidence at all that it has anything to do with climate change.
That is all.
