The Swamp is being drained, and the Dems are powerless to stop it. That’s the main lesson everyone should take away from Trump’s first month back in the Oval Office. It was a goal Trump talked a lot about during his first presidency but one he never came remotely close to meeting, in large part because of his naive reliance on an array of military generals and admirals to help him execute the plan.

Of course, all the generals and admirals he put in high positions during Trump 45 turned out to be far more loyal to Barack Obama than to their country and commander-in-chief, and they worked overtime to subvert the Trump presidency in every imaginable way. With the perspective of hindsight, it becomes glaringly obvious there was nary an honorable man among them. One of those generals - Mark Milley - could even wind up being called back to active duty so he can face a court martial for treason.

The woke-ification of the upper echelons of the U.S. military establishment by 8 years of Obama rule was a hard lesson for Trump to learn. But learn it he did, and Friday he gave the Swamp a good draining by firing the woke DEI-pushing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Air Force Gen. "CQ" Brown Jr.
