The big reveal during the last week of 2022 was supposed to be the release of Donald Trump’s tax returns from 2015-2020 by craven Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee. They had obtained the returns through illicit means last year and, after a long court battle in which the Supreme Court refused to weigh in, had obtained the cover they needed to leak the returns to the press without concerns about personal blowback.
What would the returns show? Why, they must show all sorts of wrong-doing by Trump and his companies, since politically-motivated Democrat prosecutors from the Justice Department to the New York Attorney General to City of New York DA Letitia James had spent years trying to get their hands on them.
