Sunday's Sensational Absurdities: Another Travesty in Georgia, Bill Maher is a Petty Little Man, and the Best Meme of the Week
Over the past month, I’ve written several times here about my concerns that Scott McAfee, the judge in the ludicrous RICO case against Donald Trump brought by corrupt DA Fani Willis in Georgia, would not have the courage to do the right thing in the effort by the defense to force Willis off the case due to her personal corruption. On Friday, we found out those concerns were well-founded, as McAfee issued the most gutless decision possible on the defense motion to remove her:
In his decision, McAfee admits that both Willis and her boyfriend, Nathan Wade, lied to the court, which any person with a brain refers to as “perjury.” But instead of tossing both from the case and referring them for the criminal prosecution they so richly deserve, he gives Willis an easy out: Just fire your boyfriend, who you claim you aren’t involved with anymore anyway.
