Gallup has a new poll out, and it is sad and glorious at the same time. Sad for the country, and glorious in that Old Joe Biden has achieved the very worst public approval level for a president at the end of his 6th quarter in office in the history of the Gallup survey, which goes back to the 1940s:
Jimmy Carter was overwhelmed with joy for Biden’s achievement:
Speaking of the worst (nominal) president in American history, the double-vaxxed, double-boosted old weirdo became double-tested-positive for COVID on Saturday:
Biden now joins the Little Menace to Society Anthony Fauci in achieving this triple-double of the COVID-19 world.
We should thank them both for showing us very clearly the true value of these vaccines and boosters. Which is pretty much nil, as it turns out.
Ok, well, the vaccines have generated tremendous value to Pfizer and Moderna, of course:
Here’s an excerpt from that excellent story by Jordan Schachtel:
Pfizer’s Q2 earnings numbers parallel that of a top 5 global energy company. Of course, the slight difference here is that energy companies actually provide essential services for human flourishing, while Pfizer provides, well, government-backed snake oil.
This quarter, the drug company posted a total revenue of $27.7 billion, up 46.5% from $18.9 billion the same period of last year.
Net income is up 78% to $9.9 billion this quarter, from $5.5 billion in Q2 of 2021.
While many Americans are struggling to put food on the table, Pfizer’s taxpayer-supplied profits almost doubled year over year.
[End]
I dunno - seems like maybe we need a windfall profits tax on Big Pharma. What do you think?
Or hey, maybe we need a windfall profits tax on Big Tech instead:
That Bloomberg chart cynically focuses on “Big Oil” - because of course it does; it’s Bloomberg after all - but look who 3 of the top 5 on the list happen to be.
This really isn’t complicated, is it? Doesn’t seem like it to me, anyway.
Matt Ferrell gets our award for most gullible rube of the week with this little ditty:
Only $62 trillion for the whole world to go renewable! Just $62 trillion, folks! A mere $62 trillion, and it comes with 28 million more jobs than those dirty old oil and coal companies provide! You betcha! Sure, it does! You can trust Matt Ferrell!
Of course, the cheerleading Mr. Ferrell ignores the fact that the author of that study is a long-ago disgraced hack professor at Stanford who has tenure and thus can’t be fired. So he keep pumping out ludicrous drivel like this in desperate cries for attention, damaging the university’s reputation in the process.
But this is the kind of absolute crap that will end up in high school and university textbooks in the never-ending efforts by the woke left to brainwash the children of the western world. It’s the kind of thing that leads to our countries ending up being led by braindead woke nitwits who believe we are somehow obligated to commit economic suicide to “save” the planet while China and India continue to build new coal plants and fuel their transportation fleets with gas and diesel.
Speaking of utter and complete crap brainwashing, if you think there is a cause and effect relationship between rising CO2 in the atmosphere and “global warming,” here’s a chart that indicates you might just be wrong about that:
Ouch. Patrick Moore, of course, is a past President not of ExxonMobil or some other Big Oil company, but of the radical leftist environmental group Greenpeace.
The more you know…
And speaking of our utterly corrupt news media that is always thrilled to help out with all the brainwashing propaganda, check out this New York Times headline from the week when it became official that Biden’s policies have taken us into a recession:
You just can’t make this stuff up, folks. Don’t even try.
Meanwhile, as all that hilarity was taking place, White House spokesrobot Karine Jean Pierre was wanting to make it crystal clear that the Biden administration, despite its new effort to build out some of the border wall in Arizona, is not going to completely finish that border wall entirely. Watch as she tells stellar Fox reporter Peter Doocey that 5 times in less than a minute:
My God, she is so. damn. awful. at. this. job. She makes utterly incompetent former Bush spokesman Scott McClellan look positively perfect by comparison.
It’s almost enough to make you long for the return of this:
But not quite enough for that. Yet.
That is all.
Doesn’t matter how low Biden’s approval rating goes down. He is The Man, chosen to take us down with him.
These nitwits previously twisted the truth to suit their narrative. Now they tell lies & expect us to believe them! Whatever the Brandon administration puts out we can be sure the truth is the opposite.
