In this week’s episode of Tales From the Idiocracy, David Blackmon and WACV 93.1 FM radio legend Greg Budell go on a walkabout of the Biden/Harris American Idiocracy and conclude the time has come for real change.
Topics covered include:
Trump has a clear lead, but not an insurmountable one;
Booting Old Joe from the ticket and replacing him with Harris has proved to be a zero-sum game for the Dems;
New polling shows Trump closing in on Harris in New Hampshire, Virginia and Minnesota - is it real or a mirage?;
The media’s freakout over Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally;
Every Dem POTUS since FDR has held a similar rally at the same venue;
Why Trump’s interview with Joe Rogan could represent a paradigm shift in American presidential politics;
Why Trump is privately funding his own transition effort;
And more!
Enjoy.
That is all.
Another wonderful show. I really enjoy listening to you two while I'm doing some kind of tool-based project, like fabricating feet for network switches, or shredding documents.
On AOC and motherhood, I applaud your optimism, but my dim expectation is that she'll just hire nannies and not learn a thing and not really raise the child. BTW, I found five years of pet store work in my youth to be great preparation for early fatherhood. No mess could phase me and I already knew how to clean up most bodily fluids and solids.
Not really related to this show, but wanted to make a couple of comments on ads I'm seeing. I see about four or five times as many Harris or Obama ads on Youtube begging me for money as I see Trump ads. The thing I really, truly appreciate about the Trump ads is that he is always careful to say, "if you can't afford it, don't send anything. Take care of yourself." I'm sure some will think it's a gimmick, but compared to years of democrats demonstrating that they literally hate the population, it's a joy to hear the implication that he cares.
BTW, [NITPICK] Greg often says "inference" or "infer" when the sentence calls for "implication" or "imply". [\NITPICK]
The other thing about ads, is I've been seeing a bunch of Allred (TX Dem. senator candidate) on streaming television. Like one every single ad break. Most noteworthy to me is that all his ads do is criticize Cruz. I'm not a big Cruz fan, but Alred has told me nothing about himself, except a visual that suggests he played football(?). His ads tell me nothing about what Alred's policies would be.
