The Campaign Update: Democrat Messaging Changes as Another New Variant Comes to Light
Virginia Democrat Senator and former Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine arrived in Washington, DC Tuesday afternoon after a drive up from Richmond, VA that began mid-day Monday. He got caught in a massive traffic snarl on I-95 due to the failure of the VA government to remove snow and ice from the road, and says he had to sit in that jam for - wait for it - 27 HOURS!
Update: I've been on the road for 27 hours.
Tim Kaine @timkaine
You can bet the balance in your 401K fund that Sen. Kaine was NOT riding in a Tesla or other electric vehicle during that drive. If he was, the car would still be sitting on the side of the road as you read this, unless, of course, a gas-powered tow truck had managed to get through all the traffic to pull it to the nearest Whole Foods for a recharge.
