New - After meeting with Jayapal, Pelosi pushed back on progressive’s demand that larger bill must pass House first before they agree to vote for infrastructure. Told that Jayapal said that a “framework” agreement isn’t enough to vote for infra, Pelosi told me: “I think it is.”

We are constantly reminded by the Democrat co-conspiring media that San Fran Nan is a “master at keeping her caucus in line” on the big issues. To be fair, she has been masterful at that, every bit as masterful as Mitch McConnell has been over in the Senate, at least when he wants to be.

For Nan, keeping that Democrat House caucus together on the twin multi-trillion dollar atrocities they’re struggling to move through the process right now could end up being a bridge too far. As of late Tuesday, despite 9 months of intense negotiations between the party’s ultra-radicals and its mere normal radicals - you know, the leftists the media hilariously refers to as “moderates” - the Democrats remained too divided to move either piece of legislation.

Pelosi left a Tuesday meeting with ultra-radical leader of the Party’s woke nitwit faction - they call themselves something else, but I don’t honestly care - Pramila Jayapal downcast and obviously in a foul and surly mood. Meetings with Jayapal seem to do that to the Speaker lately, as that woke nitwit faction has held up any vote on the $1.2 trillion “bi-partisan” infrastructure bill since July, insisting that they will not vote in favor of that atrocity before they get a vote on their even bigger atrocity, the $3.5 trillion “budget reconciliation” bill.

As of Tuesday, no such process was remotely possible, mainly due to the ongoing objections to myriad parts of that budget bill coming from Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema. Manchin has made it crystal clear that he will not vote for a package that includes upwards of a trillion dollars in funding of AOC’s Green New Deal, and Sinema has made it crystal clear that she similarly will not vote for any package that includes the wealth tax and corporate tax increases it currently contains. These are all elements of the bill that the ultra-radicals love; hence, the standoff continues.
