I have to be honest: I’m having a hard time concentrating on this on this particular topic this morning. But let’s give it a shot.
Texas Runoffs
Simply put, there were no real surprising results in Texas. The happiest news, in my opinion, is that the last existing elected officeholder of the Bush dynasty, George P. Bush, was soundly defeated by incumbent Ken Paxton the GOP runoff for Attorney General. Voters ended the Bush family political juggernaut with an embarrassing, 68% - 32% sendoff for the son of Jeb Bush.
