I and many others have focused on the lessons for Democrats to learn coming out of the GOP sweep in Virginia and around the country on November 3. Those lessons are clear and unambiguous, and will almost certainly be completely ignored by the communist Dems, who only know how to double down in the face of adversity and defeat. That’s their only remaining mode of operation now that the principles of Marx and Alinsky animate their entire party.
Being a Democrat today is truly now no different than being a participant in a classic religious cult, which is what Marxism and Alinsky-ism both also amount to despite the authors’ ostensible rejection of true religion. For Democrats, political positions and talking points are no longer matters of logic and reason, but of doctrine and dogma, and anyone who strays from them is an evil person who is to be excommunicated and shunned.
Which is exactly how you end up with a presidency that pits Americans against Americans over the taking of largely-ineffective vaccines supposedly designed to protect against a man-made virus with a 99%+ survival rate. This is what the Democrat Party has become - a tool that works exclusively to divide and ultimately destroy the country.
If you expect the willing participants in this de facto religious cult to take lessons away from November 3 that they must now disavow the only religion they know, boy are you in for a disappointment. That is not going to happen. What will happen instead is just another intensification of the doctrines by Democrats who hold the reins of power in Washington and in various states, and another amplification of the dogma by the true believers who infest the various social media platforms.
Republicans now have an opportunity to exploit this clear opening to regain the reins of power that were taken from them in the 2018 and 2020 election cycles. The lessons they should take away from November 3 are also clear and unambiguous for anyone interested in and capable of paying attention.
