We once again kick off the festivities with the comic geniuses at the Babylon Bee, who yet again captured the events of the previous day perfectly in a single tweet:

Remember: Parody is only funny because it is largely true.

I’m old enough to remember when Democrats and their media agents screamed to the rafters when, in January 2020, Donald Trump ordered a drone strike to take out a car carrying Iranian terrorist leader Qassem Soleimani as he left Baghdad International Airport. Democrat propaganda outlets like Reuters spent months digging up “experts” who were willing to classify the killing of that wretched scum as some sort of war crime, but only because it was Trump who ordered the strike.

We all know that’s true, don’t we? You bet we do.

On Tuesday the world witnessed a similar event when an Israeli drone purchased from the U.S. military bombed a Hamas headquarters building in Beirut where Hamas Deputy Chairman Saleh al-Arouri was known to be participating in a meeting. Given that the U.S. media has, in its Borg-like way, decided to become a de facto propaganda outlet for Hamas, we can expect a similar reaction to this killing.

But who cares? The net result is one less evil Islamic terrorist scumbag breathing air, and that’s always a good thing.

Naturally, Hamas’s sister terrorist group, Lebanon-based Hezbollah, promised more terror attacks on Israel as a response. Because, that’s always the Hezbollah promise on everything, isn’t it? You know it is.

Such tiresomely predictable people.
