When even Jimmy Kimmel ridicules the Academy Awards nominations for Best Picture:
“Don’t look up” is the only nominated film I’ve seen, which is odd for me since I normally haven’t seen any of them.
In case you care, I did a full review of that “Don’t Look Up” movie at Forbes.com. It isn’t a bad flick at all, but if it is indeed one of the 5 best pictures produced in 2021, then 2021 was a truly miserable year for motion pictures.
Meanwhile, up in Canada, the brave and valiant truckers and their supporters are winning bigly, and they’ve thrown Justin Castro, er, ‘Trudeau’ into a full-fledged panic:
Make no mistake about it: This massive demonstration of strength and patriotism by Canada’s truckers - one that is being copied now in at least half a dozen other countries - is a big part of why you are seeing Democrat governors around the country, and even people at the White House, moving now to do away with many of their abusive and ineffective COVID restrictions and mandates. The Democrats are scared to death of U.S. truckers mounting a similar show of strength.
Which of course means that we should all hope U.S. truckers do just that. Anything bad for the Democrat party is good for America and freedom.

Note that center, gray line: If you do the math, you see that independents are now trending to be far, far below the 50% support mark by November. This is another fear factor for the Dems, and helps to explain why they are making this week’s sudden moves to do away with their abusive mandates.

The truth is that inflation is not moderating at all. The truth is this administration has done literally nothing to improve the supply chain situation. The truth is they have no intention of ever doing anything real about it, because screwed up supply chains is a feature, not a glitch, of this administration’s plan for U.S. economic collapse.
