It’s official: The White House believes this is their version of Watergate. All you need to know that is to see the new tactic deployed by the awful, incompetent Karine Jean-Pierre in the White House briefing room on Wednesday:

Reporter after Jean-Pierre again refuses to comment and refers to the WH counsel: "I'm simply asking you to comment on the person that you work for." "I just commented. I already answered your question." "You really didn't." "I did." "No, you didn't." "That is your opinion."

That’s right: Rather than continue reciting the dishonest talking points that became stale 10 days ago, KJP is now simply refusing to comment on anything having to do with the Sock Puppet’s classified documents matter. Instead, she is simply referring reporters to the White House Counsel’s office, knowing that the White House Counsel will not comment, either.

The apparent hope among Biden’s evil handlers is that this will give their lapdogs in the press corps the excuse they no doubt want and need to stop asking these questions and talk about something else, like the debt ceiling extension. All it seemed to accomplish yesterday, though, was piss the frustrated Democrat toadies off even more than they already had been due to the lack of a decent narrative to parrot.
