What has it been, more than two weeks now since we first found out about the Chinese spy balloon? That balloon, remember, was allowed to traverse the breadth and length of Alaska and the Lower 48 before Biden or whomever is really in charge finally gave the order to shoot it down far out in the Atlantic Ocean.
Since then, the Pentagon has been forced to confirm that, yes, it was a Chinese balloon that was spying on some of our most sensitive national security assets; yes, it did apparently contain sophisticated surveillance hardware that they can’t recover because they shot it down over the damn ocean instead of the vast open spaces of Alaska or Canada or Montana; and yes, the Pentagon actually knew about it and tracked it almost from the moment it was released from a small island off mainland China.
