Many are no doubt wondering about the vote schedule in the Senate for Kash Patel’s nomination to be the next Director of the FBI. There hasn’t been much reporting on it since he cleared the Senate Intelligence Committee Tuesday on a 12-10 party line vote. This question is especially crucial given that the process involves not one, but two votes - cloture first, confirmation after - that in most cases require a 30-hour period in between for, ahem, ‘Senate Debate.’
