Thursday's Throbbing Absurdities: Why Speaker Johnson Will Surrender Again

Poor Bernie Sanders is an angry man. Yeah, he’s been an angry man throughout his entire adult life - being a communist means never being anything but an angry person, after all. But the ol’ commie is especially angry today because House Republicans finally grew a temporary spine and derailed the latest atrocity of an omnibus spending bill being pushed by Speaker Mike Johnson, Majority Leader John Thune and the rest of the congressional RINO caucus in concert with the Democrats.

Sanders responded to the defeat of this latest overt attempt to bankrupt the country as any good commie would do - by playing to the politics of envy:

That’s right: Rather than give credit to the conservative Rs who actually did the derailing, Sanders goes after Elon Musk because, well, Musk is a successful, wealthy capitalist, the kind of person towards whom commies always channel their hatred and envy.
