Thursday's Throbbing Absurdities: Wray's Gone, there's Drones Over Jersey, and Elon's Worth Over $400 Billion
Man, this world is healing so fast it’s almost as if there must have been a split in the universe’s timeline on November 5 and we all are now living in the happy one. Well, except for all those Iranian drones flying along the coast of New Jersey every night. More on that in a minute.
But every day now brings this parade of stories telling us unequivocally that the world is rapidly healing, and they come at such a fast pace that I have a really tough time keeping up.
Wednesday was a prime example: Around mid-day, news broke that Time Magazine was about to name Donald Trump its Person of the Year for a second time.
That would have in the past become an all-day news story, but seriously, it wasn’t 10 minutes later when news broke that demented FBI Director Christopher Wray had announced his resignation.
And those two full news cycle-worthy stories came shortly after it was revealed that Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth had caught the woke leadership at West Point outright lying about his miliary background to a leftist reporter at leftwing billionaire-funded fake news outlet ProPublica.
