Thursday's Thunderous Absurdities: Beto O'Rourke - Fake Mexican, Real Pendejo

I bought this t-shirt as a joke back in 2018, but now more than ever, it is my very favorite:

Dictionary.com defines the Mexican slang word “pendejo” as a “mildly vulgar insult for “asshole” or “idiot” in Spanish.” Both meanings apply perfectly to Irish Bob O’Rourke.

In case you missed it, Irish Bob, the detestable dilletante Democrat from El Paso, decided to use the deaths of 19 children and 2 teachers as he uses everything else in his sorry life, a political opportunity on Wednesday.

In what even the Democrat hacks at CBS News described as a “staged event,” O’Rourke interrupted a townhall being led by Governor Greg Abbott to shout talking points about the need for gun control from the audience, which was filled with grieving families of the victims:

The Mayor of Uvalde, Republican Don McLaughlin, summed up the feelings of everyone in the room, calling O’Rourke a “sick sonofabitch” for attempting to hijack such a solemn event for crass political purposes. As O’Rourke stopped and began shouting again as he was being escorted by security out of the building, Mr. McLaughlin also referred to him as an “asshole,” i.e., a pendejo.

Perfect.

Honestly, if Democrats did not already exist, who in their right mind could ever even dream of making them up?

Irish Bob O’Rourke is indeed a sick sonofabitch, but make no mistake about it: His theatrics are being roundly applauded by the hundreds of thousands of his fellow sick sons of bitches who make up the more radical woke element of the Texas Democrat voter base. Don’t kid yourselves otherwise.

Yes, as some have pointed out, Irish Bob did indeed contradict his remarks from just a few weeks ago that he would “protect the 2nd amendment” if he were elected governor. But that was always a meaningless statement to anyone who remembers his myriad promises to confiscate your guns during his failed 2018 campaign against Ted Cruz and his buffoonish, failed 2020 presidential run. Literally no one in Texas really ever believed O’Rourke is anything other than a classic woke Democrat nitwit, as he conclusively proved yet again in Uvalde.

You should also avoid making the mistake of thinking the news media nationally or in Texas will shy away from ongoing efforts to promote O’Rourke’s candidacy for the duration of this campaign.

They will all still be his adoring fans, as evidenced by this Tweet/report by the Democrat operatives at the Houston Chronicle in the wake of Irish Bob’s despicable stunt:

Meanwhile, the Democrat operatives at the online TexasTribune put out this typical cheap shot aimed not at their newsroom boyfriend Beto, but at Governor Abbott, of course:

Mr. Jacobsen’s story is, of course, an outright lie. Abrams did indeed advocate for forcing MLB to move the All-Star game out of Atlanta, even forcefully lobbying MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred personally. She only decided to change her portly posture on the issue in the face of a severe political backlash from Georgia residents.
