We’re at the point now where not even CNN can dummy up a decent poll for Old Joe Biden. Not even the Fox News poll - which held out longer even than CNN and ABC/Washington Post did - can do it anymore. This is when we know without any remaining doubt that the Democrats are headed for a thorough butt-kicking, a national devastation, come November.
That day of reckoning can’t arrive soon enough.
Check out the CNN poll released Wednesday:
Just 34% approve of the Sock Puppet’s handling of the economy. His overall approval in this poll is an obviously inflated 41%. You’d have a hard time finding that many approving of his performance in office among a pack of criminals looting a downtown San Francisco Walgreen’s.
But that 34% number on the economy is the lowest approval number recorded by CNN’s poll in over a decade, since the depths of the Great Recession under Barack Hussein Obama His Own Self.
The new Fox poll, meanwhile, looks at the abortion issue and finds no comfort at all for the Sock Puppet and his evil minions on that issue:
Oof.
So much for the Democrat effort to try to make this election be all about abortion. Which is, of course, an incredibly stupid tactic to begin with since America has never had any election that was decided on the abortion issue. That is just not how any of this works.
And in case you were worried that the Dems would be able to nuke the filibuster in order to codify Roe v. Wade into federal law, think again:
Here’s an excerpt from that story:
According to a report from Axios, Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) have no intention of ending the filibuster. “The filibuster is a protection of democracy,” Manchin told reporters; he voted against similar abortion legislation earlier this year.
“While Sinema is supportive of abortion rights, her spokesperson said her views on preserving the filibuster are unchanged and pointed to seven Senate votes where a 60-vote threshold ultimately protected abortion rights,” Axios reports.
[End]
Oooops.
Speaking of Manchin and Sinema, I sure do hope everyone is noticing how these two Democrat senators are literally saving our nation from the despicable excesses of their own party. They deserve their own statues in the Capitol Building after this past 15 months.
In the energy sector, the news media keeps waking up to the many inconvenient truths that stand in the way of Biden’s idiotic agenda. Here’s the latest revelation from Reuters:
That’s right: The NYMEX Henry Hub index leapt over $8.00/Mmbtu Wednesday for the first time in 14 years, yet natural gas production is not responding with a traditional supply response.
Why? Well, gosh, because of limits on pipeline capacity coming out of some of the major producing basins, like the Marcellus Shale. You can’t produce more gas if you aren’t allowed to transport it to market, after all.
Go figure. Who knew?
Here’s an excerpt from that story:
May 2 (Reuters) - U.S. natural gas production growth is waning at the same time many countries are looking for new suppliers to help break their dependence on Russian gas after Moscow's invasion of Ukraine.
The United States is already the world's largest producer of natural gas. But the two mainstays of production - the Appalachian region and West Texas - are seeing growth slow, with companies blaming lack of adequate pipeline infrastructure, despite prices near 14-year highs.
Since Moscow invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24, U.S. gas prices have soared about 50% as European countries look to the United States, the world's second biggest exporter, to sell more liquefied natural gas (LNG) to wean Europe off Russian fuel.
Growth has slowed in Appalachia, which supplied about 37% of U.S. gas in 2021, because it has become increasingly difficult for energy firms to build new pipes to move gas out of the Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia region.
Pipeline construction has slowed, and output growth dropped to an average of 4% in 2020 and 2021. EQT Corp (EQT.N) said on its earnings call that growth will not pick up until there are more pipelines.
Appalachia "is nearing takeaway capacity limits," said analysts at Bank of America, who estimated there would be "little to no production growth" until new pipes enter service. One giant project, the Atlantic Coast pipeline, was canceled in 2020 after costs rose from an estimated $6.0-$6.5 billion to $8 billion.
[End]
Now, the corrupt Democrat activists at Reuters won’t admit it, but the reason why we can’t get the pipelines built is due to opposition from your favorite radical Democrats in the climate alarm movement and the Biden administration.
In a separate article, Bloomberg quotes Barclays analysts as predicting that your utility bills could rise by 40% by the end of this year due to the spike in gas prices.
That’s the price you are going to pay for all this ludicrous climate alarmism. It is a direct tax on every American, and it is intentional. Higher energy prices for fossil fuels are an integral part of the Biden/Green New Deal plan, since they in theory make renewables more competitive in the marketplace.
This is being done to you on purpose by these people. Remember that come November, and take it out on them.
That is all.
We really will learn just how corrupted our election system is fall. If that "red tsunami" doesn't appear as all indicators show it should, then we will finally see just how robbed we were all along.
