Trump's Great Reset

Ok, before we get to the remarks by JD Vance on Meet the Press, let’s do a little housekeeping.

Oil prices jumped as I had projected at the opening of trading on Asian markets Sunday evening. But the boost was not nearly what many, like JP Morgan, were anticipating, and the rally quickly faded back to Friday’s status quo as traders watched to see how Iran would respond to Saturday’s U.S. bombing of its nuclear enrichment facilities.

The Brent price initially spiked by about 5.7% to above $80 per barrel when trading opened, with the U.S. WTI index rising above $78 for the first time in months. But that slight rally quickly faded as Iran did some tepid saber rattling about shutting down the Strait of Hormuz without taking any concrete action.

As of this writing at 5:00 a.m. CT in the United States, both Brent and WTI stood within a few cents of their Friday closing levels, with Brent hovering above $77 and WTI just over $74. Absent some additional provocative action by Iran or a decision by the U.S. and Israel to either take out the ruling Ayatollahs or go after Iran’s crude export and refining facilities, there is little reason to expect significant movement on Monday.

In the clip below, one of the seven B-2 Stealth bombers that conducted the raid returns home to Whiteman Air Force Base outside Kansas City, MO on Sunday.

The successful return of all seven U.S. aircraft came following 36 hours in the air without need to land. During their roundtrip missions covering a total of 14,400 miles, they were refueled multiple times and never apparently experienced any kind of technical issues. These bombers and their incredible crews are able to project military might in a way no other nation in world history has been able to match.

Fox News Channel’s Jennifer Griffin, who has spent this entire year attacking Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at every conceivable opportunity, put up this post on X following the mission’s successful completion:

Well, maybe the pilot identifies as a male.

Good grief. Ms. Griffin has seemed for at least a couple of years now to be on a persistent mission to snag a gig at CNN once her current contract with Fox expires, reportedly next year. Fox would do itself a favor by granting her apparent wish and terminating her contract today and turn her role to Tomlinson, who retains an ability to focus on actual news rather than playing identity politics.

I certainly empathize with Americans who are exhausted after 25 years of foreign entanglements in the Middle East. I understand the concern, but the difference is that back then we had dumb presidents and now we have a president who actually knows how to accomplish America's national security objectives.

So, this is not going to be some long, drawn-out thing. We've got in, we've done the job of setting their nuclear program back. We're going to now work to permanently dismantle that nuclear program over the coming years.

And that is what the president has set out to do. A simple principle: Iran can't have a nuclear weapon. That has animated American policy over the past 130 days. It's going to continue to be a driving force of our policy in the Middle East for the next three and a half years.

Man, is that perfect, or what?

As I’ve noted here many times in the past, every U.S. president starting with Poppy Bush has been a creature of the international globalist set, with the only exception being Donald Trump. Were they all “dumb,” as Vance characterizes them here? Well, not in a low IQ sense - in that aspect of human existence, both Bushes, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama no doubt scored highly, although W would have ranked at the low end of that bunch.

Joe Biden was at least a clever person in terms of scheming to enrich himself via his wide variety of influence peddling grifts over the years, but he had lost that to dementia long before he was elevated to his illegitimate presidency in 2021. By that time, he was at best a functional moron.

But though they alternately came from both the major political parties, these presidents of the past all share one thing in common: Their decision making was grounded in the strictures of the international globalist agenda. They weren’t focused on policies which protected the national interests of the United States; they were all, as Obama His Own Self once famously boasted, “citizens of the world.”

Looking back, we should have never been surprised about any of that reality. Poppy Bush, after all, had been a CIA operative starting in the late 1950s and was steeped in the philosophies of both globalism and the international Deep State, which are intimately intertwined with one another.

Bill Clinton was tutored in his early years by Democrat Arkansas Sen. J. William Fulbright and heavily influenced by his own evil wife, an acolyte of Saul Alinsky, whose Rules for Radicals served as a precursor training ground for the radical activism of George Soros.

George W. Bush was, much like Biden, basically a front man for a presidency run by Dick Cheney and his fellow neocons. In addition to overseeing the most significant economic crash since the Great Depression, we still struggle with the consequences of the neocon adventurism in the Middle East today.

Obama, most likely America’s first Muslim president, was the classic Manchurian Candidate, steeped in the ethos of radicalism and globalism from his earliest days. The more we learn about him, the more blatantly obvious that all becomes.

And then there’s Old Joe, the farcical sock puppet whose actions during the Obama presidency, coordinated with then-Sec. State Hillary, literally set the table for the continuing war between Russia and Ukraine. America seems destined to suffer the negative impacts of his pretend presidency for decades to come.

Were those past presidents “dumb” in the literal sense? Again, Biden aside, the answer is “no.” They were simply men committed to the globalist, Deep State ideology, an ideology which willingly subjugates American interests to the interests of maintaining the “liberal world order” established in the years after World War II.

President Donald Trump (oh, how I do still love typing those three glorious words each morning) has made it his mission to end that overtly anti-America world order. Bringing stability to the Middle East is a central piece of that mission, as is the reversal of the economically ruinous Obama/Biden climate alarm lunacy, ending the trans insanity, and mass deportation of the army of foreign invaders allowed to enter our country over the last four years as part of the Democrat party’s Cloward Piven project.

Trump’s agenda is essentially a modern-day crusade, and eliminating Iran’s nuclear ambitions is integral to its ultimate success. But it’s also just a beginning.

President Trump also understands that many of the countries the United States has traditionally considered to be allies are not really allies at all. That includes many of countries in Europe whose governments are rapidly canceling the common values and personal freedoms they have held with the United States. From the UK to France to Germany and beyond, the Trump administration is in the process of resetting our mutual relations and alliances.

Remember: We are only 5 months into this second Trump presidency, and already so much of the world in which we suffered under Biden’s regime has been transformed.

Trust me on this: Far more of that world is going to change, and change dramatically, in the 3-1/2 years Trump has remaining. Call it Trump’s own version of a “Great Reset.”

The advancing realization that there is not much they can do to stop it is why we see both the Democrats and the RINOs now in full panic mode. Isn’t it glorious?
