Tuesday's "Absurdity": When COVID "Misinformation" Becomes a Dem Talking Point
I’ve pointed out many times here that the only difference between anything the Democrats and their corrupt news media propaganda merchants label as a “conspiracy theory” and what will ultimately be recognized as fact is roughly 3 to 6 months. We have seen this phenomenon play itself out time and time again since 2016: You get banned for saying it on Twitter or Facebook one day, and the media is spouting talking points celebrating it as official Democrat party policy a few months later.
As of Monday, we’re going to have to apply the same standard to anything the corrupt media labels as “misinformation” about COVID-19. Here is what especially dim congressman Ted Lieu of California said about natural immunity in a tweet Monday:
“With the rapid decline of Omicron, pandemic restrictions will be lifted sooner rather than later. In considering when to do so, health officials must factor in natural immunity, not just vaccination rates. This CDC chart recognizes natural immunity and so should health officials,” the dimwit said, essentially parroting several of Joe Rogan’s guests in the process.
The debate over whether the CDC should properly consider natural immunity when formulating its constantly-shifting guidance has been a significant tool the left has used to try to cancel Rogan’s show as spreading COVID-related “misinformation.” Rogan has interviewed several expert doctors, including Robert Malone, who have told him the CDC should do exactly what Cong. Lieu says it should do here.
Thus we see the Democrat party suddenly shifting to adopt talking points related to COVID that it and its media agents have spent months labeling as “misinformation,” and its Perpetual Outrage Mob has used to try to have people like Rogan cancelled.
Here’s the beauty part: It isn’t just the despicable Dems doing this - it’s their depraved agents in the news media doing it, too. Check out this tweet put out by Dr. Leana Wen, a complete crank who has recommended forcing nursery school and daycare students to wear M95 masks all day long. Wen, like the Creepy Porn Lawyer, has made a new career for herself by appearing in hundreds of fawning interviews on CNN over the last year:
Oh, so now we’re not just telling the CDC to finally, at long last work natural immunity into its decision-making, we’re also sending messages that the abusive Democrat politicians at the state and local levels are about to start doing away with their useless, ineffective mandates. So, just as with “conspiracy theories” suddenly becoming recognized fact, we now see the corrupt news media working in concert with the depraved Dems to label what had been smeared as “misinformation” as fact.
Rogan and his guests will be glad to hear about this one, too.
Why is this happening now, you may be asking? Simple: Same reason the Democrat party and its media toadies do anything - they got a bunch of COVID-related polling and focus group data that is so awful for them that they now are in a panic about getting completely destroyed in the mid-term elections. Literally everything any Democrat politician does is based on polling and focus group data. Every move they make, every public word they say, every tweet they tweet.
Now, no one should think that any of this seemingly good news for the public means the Dems are going to just willy-nilly abandon all of the abusive, moronic restrictions on our daily lives they have succeeded in putting into place using COVID as their justification. No one should think their lifting of mandates (Gavin Newsom lifted some in California just yesterday) means that you will be free to go about your normal lives from here on out. Trust me, they will never surrender power - that is not in the cards until we as a people rid ourselves of the Democrat plague for good.
They will keep some restrictions in place - like masking kids in school at the behest of communist teachers unions. Many such mandates will go away, but there will always be some school districts run by communist Dems that will fight to keep them in place. They also will never abandon their propaganda about COVID, and will keep much of the rank disinformation spread by Fauci and others in place, always planning for the day they can roll all the restrictions and more back out again.
What we are about to see is what we can consider a partial pause in the communist Dems’ pursuit of their “Great Reset.” This partial, gradual lifting of some restrictions on your freedoms will roll out as the mid-term elections approach. After the elections have come and gone, the remaining, diminished, regional Democrat party will assess the carnage it has suffered in their conclaves along the East and West coasts, and begin working on a new plan for its’ remaining governors, mayors and county judges to start rolling it all out again.
Yes, it’s despicable; yes, it is completely depraved and demented and disgraceful. But hey, this is Democrats and their media toadies we’re talking about here. You expected something else?

David, I agree with your assessment. What’s going to be tricky for the Dims is their timing of this manipulation. They aren’t really good at timing of their political malfeasance so critical thinkers will spot it quickly!
